Point your hosted Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin ASICs at Rabid Pool
No signup, no account, no minimum fleet size. Each customer's payout address is their login, and their hashrate is paid straight out of the block's coinbase to that address. We never hold anyone's coins.

Why hosts and farms use it
Customers are paid directly
PPLNS pays every block's miners in the coinbase; a SOLO block pays the finder 99%. There is no pool balance to trust and no payout request to chase. Customers watch their own address on the BCH or BTC page, or in the phone app.
Built for big batches
Farm ports start every connection at difficulty 1,048,576, so a whole rack connecting at once is not buried in tiny shares. Extranonce2 is 8 bytes and version rolling is on.
One flat 1% fee
The same for PPLNS and SOLO, on BCH and BTC. There are no volume tiers to negotiate and nothing hidden, because every block is public on the explorer.
Near your machines
The pool hostnames route each connection to the closest relay (North America east and west, Europe, Asia), so latency stays low wherever the machines sit.
Settings for your customers
| Coin | Mode | Everyday ports | Farm / rental ports |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bitcoin Cash | PPLNS (shared blocks, steady) | stratum+tcp://bch.rabidmining.com:4333 | :4343 · starts at 1,048,576 |
| Bitcoin Cash | SOLO (whole block, all or nothing) | stratum+tcp://bch.rabidmining.com:4334 | :4344 · starts at 1,048,576 |
| Bitcoin | PPLNS | stratum+tcp://btc.rabidmining.com:5333 | :5343 · starts at 1,048,576 |
| Bitcoin | SOLO | stratum+tcp://btc.rabidmining.com:5334 | :5344 · starts at 1,048,576 |
Username: the customer's own payout address, then an optional .workername. Password: x, or d=NUMBER to pin a fixed difficulty (on the farm ports d= can only raise it). A payout address the pool cannot pay is refused at connect, so a typo never means hashing for nothing.
Copy and send to your customers
Your network only needs to allow outbound TCP to those ports. Nothing inbound is required.
Good to know before you onboard a fleet
PPLNS or SOLO for customers?
PPLNS pays a share of every block the pool finds, so income is steady. SOLO pays only when that customer's own hashrate solves a block (99% of the whole reward, 1% to the pool), so it is a lottery. Most customers want PPLNS; SOLO suits people who want the jackpot odds.
Can I put all my customers under one address?
You can, but then every block pays that one address and you would have to split it yourself. Giving each customer their own address as the username keeps every payout direct and every customer able to check their own stats.
How many SOLO customers at once?
SOLO gives each distinct payout address its own coinbase, and there is a limit on how many are active at the same time: 122 on BCH and 58 on BTC. PPLNS is not limited by this slot count (it has its own limit on how many payout outputs fit in one block, so if you will bring hundreds of separate PPLNS customers, tell us first). If you host more separate SOLO customers than the numbers above, talk to us first.
What about XBT?
XBT is different. XBT miners must connect to the owner's own XBT node and DATUM gateway (the Rabid node installer), so a hosted XBT machine points at the customer's public IP on port 23334, with that port forwarded on their router and allowed in their firewall. We cannot host that for them. See the XBT page for the walkthrough.
Is DATUM available on BCH or BTC?
No. BCH and BTC use plain Stratum V1 (the settings above). DATUM is XBT only.
