Samples are taken once a minute from the pool’s own stratum.

quan.rabidmining.com9733 (UDP — QUIC)qzYourAddress.rig1— Quantus miners connect over QUIC and pin the pool’s certificate instead of trusting a certificate authority — that is what the TLS pin is for. If the pin ever changes we will say so on this page.
Official miner (verified against this pool)
quantus-miner serve --node-addr SERVER_IP:9733 --auth-token qzYourAddress.rig1 --tls-cert-sha256 PIN
SRBMiner-MULTI (3.6.9 or newer — verified working on this pool)
SRBMiner-MULTI --algorithm quantus --pool quan.rabidmining.com:9733 --wallet qzYourAddress.rig1 --tls-cert-sha256 PIN
SOLO · port 9734 — official miner
quantus-miner serve --node-addr SERVER_IP:9734 --auth-token qzYourAddress.rig1 --tls-cert-sha256 PIN

Most miners (SRBMiner and others) use the server names above. The official quantus-miner only accepts an IP address, not a name: replace SERVER_IP in its command with the address your computer finds for the nearest server (for example run ping na-west-quan.rabidmining.com). Use your own wallet’s address — the one starting qz. A bad address is refused at connect. If a miner will not log in, tell us on Discord: the pool logs exactly what it rejected.
Yes. A Quantus block can only pay one miner address, so the pool is that address: block rewards land in the pool’s wallet and the pool sends each miner their PPLNS share. Our Bitcoin-family pools are non-custodial; this one is not, and we say so up front. The pool is built so a crash cannot pay anyone twice (every payout batch is written to the database before anything is sent), the wallet holds only what the next payout needs plus a small buffer, and the rest is swept to the owner’s cold storage.
Once a day (every 4 hours once the pool earns more than about 50 QTC a day), for every miner whose balance is at least 0.2 QTC. The pool pays the network transfer fee, so you receive the full amount. Balances below 0.2 QTC carry over.
A block is credited when it is final — 100 blocks (about 20–25 minutes) after it was found — so a block that gets orphaned never pays anyone. After that your share appears under Blocks you earned from.
PPLNS: the window is twice the network difficulty of accepted shares, and each miner gets their fraction of the block reward (minus the 1% fee) by the difficulty-weighted shares they have in that window.
Your own Quantus address starting qz (from the Quantus Wallet app). Do not use another coin’s address. If you mine to an exchange, check its minimum deposit first (SafeTrade: 0.1 QUAN; our minimum payout is 0.2 QTC).
Quantus uses QPoW, mined over QUIC. Use the official quantus-miner or SRBMiner-MULTI 3.6.9+ with --algorithm quantus. The Connect tab has the commands and the TLS pin.
Difficulty is measured in expected hashes, so the pool and network hashrate here are hashes per second of QPoW work, the same way the network figure is derived from difficulty and block time.
No cap. SOLO mode is live on UDP port 9734 (PPLNS stays on 9733): same address login, same TLS pin. A block your own work finds pays 99% to you, 1% fee, credited when the block is final and paid in the daily payout. SOLO miners do not share in PPLNS blocks and PPLNS miners do not share in SOLO blocks. Because every Quantus block pays one pool address, the pool works out who found each block from the winning nonce stamped into the block itself, so it cannot be mixed up. If a block ever cannot be matched to a finder, nobody is paid from it until we have checked it by hand — it is held, not lost.
No. Quantus is its own chain with its own proof-of-work (QPoW) and addresses. Rabid Pool is an independent project, not affiliated with Quantus.
