Hashrate is estimated from validated share weight over each miner's own active span. A rig is one stratum connection — PCN's share ledger records the session, not a worker name. PCN is PPLNS only; there is no SOLO mode.

On a non-custodial coin there is no pool wallet. We never hold a balance for you — PCoin's own coinbase pays every credited miner directly, in the block that finds them.

Stock xmrig will not mine this correctly — PCoin uses a fixed RandomX key (PCoin/RandomX/v1), not Monero's key rotation. Use the Rabid build linked above.

Address rules, checked when you connect, not after you've been hashing for hours: only a pc1q… v0 bech32 address — a pc1p… or any other format is refused at connect.

What is PCoin?

A Bitcoin Core fork using RandomX proof-of-work over the standard 80-byte Bitcoin header (not a CryptoNote blob), with Bitcoin-style consensus: 50 PCN/block, 210,000-block halving, 10-minute target.

Do you hold my coins?

No. This pool is non-custodial the same way every coin here is: one coinbase output per miner, split fixed at template build, paid directly by the block that's found. There is no pool wallet.

How does My Stats work, and why does "connected" look different here than on other coins?

PCoin's own upstream API has no per-address endpoint, so My Stats here is built from Rabid's own read-only reader of the pool's ledger (real payout history, real share activity) rather than PCoin's own API. "Connected" is derived from whether you have a share in the last 5 minutes — an honest proxy from real share data, not a live socket count like the other coins show, since this exporter never touches the running pool process directly.

Is there a hashrate cap?

No cap on PCN.

What's the fee?

1%, same as every coin on Rabid Pool. Upstream's own default pool charges 2% — this one doesn't.
